Mick (he/him)
Full Name: Michael Theodore O'Loughlin III
Birthday: December 22nd 1992 (aged 30)
Heritage: Scottish (born in Aberdeen, Scotland)
Height: 6 ft 5 (1,96 m)
Appearance: very tall and lean, slightly toned
Occupation/Job: motor mechanic
Relationship status: divorced, currently dating Evelyn Quinn
Children: none
- Mick moved with his ma and pa to Ireland when he was ten years old.
- He appears to have somewhat of a sixth sense - he can read a room within seconds, he can feel certain vibes and, I mean, what can I say... he may, in fact, be a wee bit psychic.
- Actually, there may be something else about Mick's ancestry that is yet to be unraveled...
- Mick is pretty scatterbrained in everyday life. Information often gets lost in his brain, he has weird trains of thought and his mind is... special.
- His haircolour is natural, thanks for asking.
- Mick is very fit and agile, and he can't sit still for too long without getting twitchy.
- He's the ridiculous kind of pretty... people see him and tend to think something along the lines of "Is he real!?"
- Mick has a cat named The Countess Sasha von Grimmelshausen - short: Sasha
- He used to be a pretty angry fella when he was a little younger. There is a lot behind that to get into, but I want to keep these profiles as short as possible, so let's just say that Mick was pretty misunderstood as a person, never got the love and guidance he would have needed from his extended family... and thus, he never learned to properly channel his emotions. Unnecessary (bar) fights, getting drunk and provoking strangers... these things happened quite often. Mick has been working on that for a while now, though.
… to be continued!
Family: Aurnia Leslie (mother, deceased) | Michael O'Loughlin II (father...)
I feel like when I say ‘relatable’ what I really mean is ‘resonant.’ I don’t want characters who I feel are like me, I want characters who have emotions so strong I can feel them through the page.
Just A Normal Late Night Out (WIP)
Time for some Delicia & Charlie stuff!
Some context: It was a normal late night out, just like many others, except… a little something else happened. They were outside, near the club's parking lot and, just as they were heading back inside, Delicia kissed Charlie on the cheek, or rather, on the corner of his mouth. A tiny impulse she couldn't control and, frankly, didn't want to. At that point in time (1981 or so), her feelings for Charlie were kinda in love territory, but she kept them to herself. The two had a pretty close friendship, one Delicia deeply cared about, so she didn't want to make things weird. But on that one night, she simply didn't care, so cheek-almost-mouth-kiss it was. She definitely didn't anticipate a full-blown kissing session on the first car they could find, moments later.
Things got pretty… hot. They were both all over each other and you can imagine what would've happened next, had they not been interrupted by Charlie's mates (we set our minds on the car belonging to one of these friends, who was not pleased with their little make out session on HIS car 😂).
Not long after, Charlie accompanied Delicia home. They were both cool again (as cool as you can be after almost having s*x on a car with the guy you fancy, something you were 100% into 😂), and the night seemed to be over… but then.
"Right, I'll leave you alone now", Charlie said with a chuckle and a funny little smirk on his lips, just as Delicia turned to face him again, after taking off her high heels. They were both in the house's doorway — one about to close the door, the other about to leave. That's when Delicia realised she didn't want him to leave. Fuck no. Grabbing the collar of his jacket, Delicia pulled him close. "Come on, Charlie…" She whispered on his lips. "Do you really think I want to be left alone?"
And that's all it took.
Enough with "I don't want to make things weird", am I right? Gosh, I love them so much! They're pure chaos and I'm here for it. 😂

Ettie Weston and the Long Days (WIP) 🕝🍸
Say hello to Ettie Weston! Henrietta "Ettie" Millicent Weston, to be precise, but Ettie Weston is fine. Seriously, don't try to call her Henrietta unless she specifically tells you it's fine — she will NOT appreciate it and you will KNOW it.
Ettie is one of Delicia's close friends and she works as a bartender in a nice little pub in London. The two of them met somewhere between 1975-76(?), not long after Delicia moved to London, and they have been friends ever since.
Ettie was born on 15th July 1950, in London. She comes from your regular, slightly conservative family and, for a while, Ettie believed her life was pretty much straight forward — a normal, somewhat sheltered upbringing, good education, a nice relationship. What Ettie *didn't* see coming was a full on identity crisis, as soon as she turned 21. It was the early '70s and Ettie realised her life was not really… what she had hoped for? But what *did* she hope for? She never truly put much thought into it, she kinda just… went along. But now, now was the time to start thinking!!
By the time 1980 rolls in, Ettie is almost 30 years old and has been on her own for almost a decade. She has her own place to call home, her bartender job (which she loves), her fair share of great and not-so-great experiences, cool friends ("Dude, Delicia can see ghosts!!"), three cats, occasional dates and a secret wish to find love one day. Oh, and a not-so-good opinion (at first) about Charlie Elkins ( @eve-to-adam 's OC) and his mates, but that's a story for another day. 😂 Most importantly, she feels happy!
The scene above takes place in the early '80s. Ettie and her colleagues are about to open up for the day and she has one of her "feelings". She thinks there's a looong day ahead of them, which kinda became their inside joke, because (almost) every time Ettie Weston "senses" a hard work day approaching, that's precisely what happens. No one knows how she does it, not even Ettie herself. 😂
